I'm so happy! I got an email from JList that my order has been shipped. Last time, I only ordered t-shirts, so they came from San-Diego, but this time, it's coming all the way from Japan. Can't wait to have my Neko-bus plushie (nope, you can't order them anymore right now, I got the last one!)
I also ordered some wiener cutters, to make these pinguin and flower shaped sausages you see in mangas. That'll be fun to try out too.
I really wish we had a Chinatown here. I would spend so much time and money there. We use to have one, but ot was destroyed but road constructions. There's been talk of rebuilding it, but that's far away, and I'll believe it when I see it. It would be easier to just visit my brother in Montreal as a facade for a shopping trip, or to just make a trip to Japan, once I'm rich...
I'm missing number 12 of Ayashi no Ceres. I've bought and read all 11 first volumes, and when I get to the comic book shop, they're out of 12. I got 13 and 14, thinking I'd find the missing book in a regular bookstore, but it seems stocks are low everywhere. I'll check two smaller bookstores downtown tomorrow on my way to work.
I'm done watching Kiki's Delivery Service. It was a great movie. Miyazaki movies always seem a little long at some point, and looking at the specs on the dvd, well, they are. Two hours is longuer than a lot of movies. But they're great all the same.
Still have to straighten my hair before going to bed. Or else I'll scare what little customers we'll get away. With rain all day, we need all customers we can get.
