Done! I finished my last exam, handed in that last report in that darn class I'm failing anyway, and now I'm home, drugged on painkillers... No Sake or Baileys for me tonight. (;_;)

Tomorrow, I'll grab all those books and notes and stuff them... somewhere far from sight, and dig up my novels I didn't get a chance to either finish or start since last summer.

I just know I'll be bored by tomorow afternoon. Guess the summer job search is on. Gotta touch up my resume.

Today, I also dropped by the maintenace desk for my laptop, to install the extra files for the Windows IME. It's really neat, now not only can I see the actual Japanese characters on Japanese webpages, I can also type in Japanese characters. I figured it would come in handy with my classes. And it's just really neat.

On this, I'm getting drowsy from the pills, and I haven't really slept a full night in the last week, so I'm gonna nap, which I can do now because I'm on summer vacation!

I'm one exam away from being free. And I already have a passing grade in this class, so I'm not stressing out.

So tonight, I can celebrate liberation from this hell/program.

There's a bottle of Sake waiting at home with my name on it.

I thought I had landed the easy job.

We have this project to finish this week. The lil robot is done, and it worked when the teachers tested it wednesday. There's still an oral this next wednesday, but that's not too bad, has long as I'm not the one answering questions. And then there's the report to hand in tomorow at midnight.

I thought I had the easy job : grab what's been done by everybody else, and put it together in one neat file. Convert to PDF and Voila! All set to upload to the teachers.

Turns out, in a team of 7, not everyone works at the same speed. I must have spent 27 hours on this in the last 3 days. I'm about ready to call it quits. And I still have 3 other exams this week, that I need to study for.

The report is now 110 pages. That's a long report.

And to help matters, my usual internet connextion isn't working tonight, so I'm using my monthly 8 hours of free internet service at home via university, and I keep getting disconnected after 20 minutes. I need 30 minutes to completly upload the report.

If my internet provider isn't working properly by tomorow, I'm screwed.

No, wait. I'm screwed, and so are my 6 other teamates.

Misery loves compagny.

Can't wait until thursday, and summer vacation. No more science! Yay! Translation, here I come!

After spending the last two months on Tylenol, I've finally been to the hospital last night. The pain had been constant for over three days, which means no sleep, and no way to study for all my finals coming up next week.

So I went to Jeffrey Hales, the local English hospital. The waiting is always shorter there since people seem to think you need to speak English to go there. I still spent over 4 hours sitting in the ER, the Tylenol I had taken was all gone, and I was left with this really bad pain and nothing to do but sit in a plastic chair and stare at the wall.

I finally saw a doctor at about 12h15, and less than 15 minutes later, I was on my way home with a prescription for three different pills, and another for a more advance exam of my throat.

I took a pill for the pain about 30 minutes ago, and now I feel about ready to drop, even though I already slept through most of the early afternoon. But the pain is still slightly there. Nice. The secondary effects are worst then the intended effect.

My mom also checked in our Medical Dictionnary what was the infection the doctor thought I might have. Of course, she read it all the way through, so I'm suppose to end up dying of cancer. I guess the good part is no more school.

I think I'll try to read a few math chapters before I fall asleep on top of my laptop. (good lord, and it's only 8pm)

There were the ramblings of me, eavily drugged, but still able to write in English, even if it's not my mother tongue.

Good night y'all.

Only two weeks left before summer vacation! Yeah! Then I just have to find a job and work the whole summer away in order to pay for university next year! Yea... not so much yeah.

But anyway, I'm still happy this session is almost over. It's been hell for so many reason, and I can't wait to leave the Sciences Fac behind and switch to the Languages Faculty building.

On another bright note, the weather is slowly getting better. I packed away my big fluffy winter coat, and my legs don't freeze while waiting for the bus anymore.

I really have nothing to write about. I'm just wasting time until my next class in 20 minutes.

Yep, can't wait for these next two weeks to be over.

I dropped the laptop. I mean, really. It was in it's bag, which I would hope is good protection cause that Roots bag wasn't cheap. I just put it on the table, and 3 seconds later, in the hallway, I hear the unmistakable sound of a bag hitting the ground.

I was too late to boot up at home, so I caught the bus and hoped for the best. Anyway, the repair shop is at school.

Well, it seems to work fine. Still need to check if it boots up in Linux fine and if the earphones and modem plugs are alright.

I ordered my ninja turtles toddlers action figures two weeks ago, and haven't received them yet. Since then, I've found two places that had the set, which I'm considering buying also for my oldest nephew, because my sisters suck at buying cool toys (and that makes me the cool aunt!)

I picked my classes for next year, and I've received confirmation that I was accepted in the translation program, as long as I prove I can write and read English.

huh.

I think I can handle that. Bring on the test.

Going through the entire TMNT family here Posted by Hello

I was looking at the price of Ninja Turtles figures on ToysRus.ca, and ended up on the 12inches Raphael description page.

Product Description: Hand-painted and meticulously sculpt, this 12"""" statue of Michaelangelo captures the strength and heroism of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Posed in a traditional ninja battle stance, Leonardo brandishes his signature weapon, the Twin Sais, as he prepares to face off against Shredder and Foot Clan. This design is based on the original 1984 comic from Mirage Studios.

They're just missing Donatello and they've got the entire family there. Guess they're trying to get some free advertising by changing constantly the name of the character.

It also stated lower on the page that the toy's bilingual. Don't know what can be bilingual about an action figure though...

And, I got accepted in the Translation program. It's official on the web, but I'm still waiting for mail confirmation, with all the info on extra tests I might have to take. But, just thinking of finally switching program next september makes me all happy.

I just have to get through this last month (more like 3 weeks really) and goodbye engineering classes. Won't miss them. Nope.

But right now, I still have an exam on tuesday, and I procrastinated all weekend, so back to studying.
