I didn't find the ingredients I was missing to make takoyaki at the groceries store. I had checked last summer I think, when first looking up the recipe, and they had everything needed in the 'natural' section, but it seems all the 'natural' section carries nowadays are 'bowel cookies'. Everyone enjoys having to run to the restroom after having eaten a non-fat, non-sugary, non-taste cookie.

I'm planning a trip to the 'all-natural' groceries store that's near university. It's quite a bus ride for groceries, but I need dried fish flakes, darn it!

I bought an hair straightener this weekend (or rather got someone else to pay for it, same result in the end :p)

So today, I straightened my hair. The result is nice, really. I'm just waiting to see what it'll look like tomorow morning. I just don't have an extra half hour to spend every morning to do this.

I'm sad and a little p.o.ed since I just found out there was no Charmed this weekend. I can finally go to bed late, without worrying about monday morning classes, and they cancel it. They should really consider me before taking all decisions.

Anyone reading this that hasn't figured it out yet, I rambbling (as usual) because I'm really sleepy.

I think I'll go to bed before writting anything less interresting.

Yep. Brought this on myself.

Four questions. Couldn't answer one.

Can't wait to see how poorly I did.

I'm not really stressed anymore. I know I did badly, and pretty much everyone else in the class I know are also quite sure they did badly. Computer engineering students just don't seem to care or understand how a motor works. I'd rather be messing around with programming.

Of course, the guys with whom I'm working on this year's project are in electrical engineering, and to top it off, they're geniuses. So they left the exam saying that it was too easy. Right. At least I know your project will work with those guys working on it.

To celebrate my failure, and winter break, I went on a short shopping trip (I'm pretty much broke, like all students, so they're always quite short) and then came back home to drown myself in alcool. Actualle I only had one glass of milk/bayley's/amaretto, but I have absolutly no resistance for alcool. See the 5'10 girl drop from just one drink. Really funny actually.

So, I'm on break. I have some work to do. Got another exam and some work to hand in when I get back next week. But I definatly plan to go lose some time downtown in "Old Quebec" since I've been meaning to do that for weeks now. If my new camera lens adaptor gets here quickly enough, I might go for the tourist look and grab a few pictures.

But for today, I just wanna go get the stuff I need to make takoyaki and try out my new pan! I'm just so sure my sisters will somehow, quite possibly using a sixth sense they seem to have, end up visiting just has I'm cooking, and thus make sure there's no leftovers.

And as for the link of the day : http://www.sofieloafy.net/geishamain.htm I was wondering what exactly was a Geisha, since I've read a few fanfic that mention them without any extra informations, and I ended up on this website. Very complete, with great pictures and loads of informations. Makes you want to move to japan just to become a geisha. (even if I'm not asian or asian looking)

Zen... zen... zen... zen...

Can't seem to relax before this exam, which, I admit, I'm probably going to fail, due to my lack of work in this class prior to this very week. (I spent three days last week end just staring at my book, unable to bring myself to actually read it. Guess I brought this on myself)

I did get all the exercises done, and mostly understood. But then, I checked last year's exam, and didn't understand ANYTHING. Good news is the professor can't ask exactly the same questions. Bad news is this exam will probalby be just as bad.

I just keep telling myself that I'll just get this over with, and then have a good winter break.

Now if only I could relax..

zen... zen... zen...

This day just keep getting better!

The Purolator delivery truck stopped here (for once I was home, so no 75 minutes drive to the depot to get my stuff this weekend!) and I got my Takoyaki pan!

I just bought it from eBay friday! From Japan! Now that's fast delivery!

Now it just need a good scrubbing, and I'll be making octopus balls goodies this weekend (get your minds oout of the gutter, you sick bastards (/foamy mode) )

But for now, getta get to studying.

Darn.

Takoyaki pan Posted by Hello

Here I am, sitting again in the papasan. Eating a bowl of spicy ramen (the good kind that cost 1$, not the 25ยข one) looking at someone else's pictures on A Year or So in Japan. The kids just got out of school for lunch time. They're walking on the snow mounds alond the street, which are in the middle of our front lawn really, about a meter away from the window, delighted at being 4 feet taller than usual and away from school for the time being, but probably not realising the winter break is next week. (I know I always forgot and was always surprise when my mother welcomed me home with a song about the greatness of vacations...)

I so wanna go to Japan too! I think it's actually a good enough reason to finish this darn engineering program. Now if only I could consentrate on studing for tomorrow's exam and not think of how nice it would be to be downtown, roaming aroud all those streets, checking out how many tourists have decided to use the, although cold, sunny day to discover Quebec city.

My own winter break is starting monday. But when in university, it's usually more of a 'get all that stuff that's late done' week, and than when you get back the following week, everyone acts all astonished that they really didn't get anything done, even if they left with nothing but good intentions.

I received my 'Pretty Guardian SailorMoon Moonlight Rod' from Honk Kong yesterday. I tried swinging it toward my school books, but it didn't turn them into moon dust, so I guess I got ripped off, and it doesn't really gets rid of evil. Oh well. It flashes with pretty colors, and the clerks at the post office were jealous of the stamps on the package.

I'm not sure, but I think there was a point to this entry when I started it. But I guess it got lost somewhere along the way. The two pictures I posted yesterday are taken from my favorite spot at university, where a few tables, with outlets to plug in laptops and a good strong wireless internet signal, were placed in front of a window that covers all three floors. It was snowing at the time, but my cellphone camera can't take good enough pictures to show that. But it's still nice to be able to take little pictures without anyone noticing.

I thought of naming this 'Yet again', but I figured I'd keep that name for another blog I'm sure I'll start someday.

I'm not a University drop-out; Not yet, anyway.

Like most of the guys (and I say guys because there are no other girls in my classes) I go to school with, I think daily of dropping out. Working at the restaurant was so much more fun than this torture.

I really don't wanna be an engineer, but if I'm not studying, than I don't know what to do.

So now I'm procrastinating, my favorite past time when I have a ton of school work to get done, just like I do right now, by creating a new blog on htis acount I haven't used in 3 years.

How sad.

There isn't really a point to this blog. I tried doing that a few times, here and elsewhere, and it never really works. Anyway, it more fun to type out anything that goes through my poor head than to try to stick to a subject.

So look out Blogspot! I'm clamming another small part off webspace for my rambling!
